We have compiled this privacy policy to help you understanding how your personal data is being used. 1.2. Information we collect when you sign-up to our services

1.3. Information we collect about listeners through our Podcast Analytics Prefix

When listening to a podcast that is using Voxalyze Podcast Analytics, we collect the following information from the request sent by your podcast app or web player:

  • User-agent
  • Random user ID (cookie based, only in appropriate jurisdictions)
  • What podcast is being played
  • Time the event occurred

1.4. Information we collect through our Analytics SDKs

Some websites or apps might use our SDKs to track attributions and events like web player or search activity on their own properties. By default, we collect the following information with each request sent to our collector:

  • Random user ID (cookie based, only in appropriate jurisdictions)
  • Website URL
  • Time the event occurred

A website or app publisher using our SDK can decide what data they want to share with us. It is their obligation to ensure compliance with laws and regulations in their jurisdiction as well as their own terms and privacy policies.

1.5. GDPR compliance of Analytics services

We strive to minimize the amount of PII we process and store. Besides IP addresses, we don’t collect any data that could be classified as PII. We have implemented several measures to comply with GDPR and other EU provisions:

  • IP addresses are anonymized (see help center for more details)
  • By default, our services never attempt to set cookies on visitors’ devices inside the EU

Publishers falling into section 1.4. might send us additional data, depending on their own privacy policy, terms and jurisdiction.

2. Purpose of processing

We use your data to provide our services, communicate with you, troubleshoot issues, secure against fraud and abuse, improve and update our services, analyze how people use our services, serve personalized advertising, and as required by law or necessary for safety and integrity

  • Market to our mailing list or continue to send emails to our clients after the original transaction has occurred (only if the user’s consent is given).

We agree to the following:

  • Not use false or misleading subjects or email addresses.
  • Identify the message as an advertisement in some reasonable way.
  • Include the physical address of our business or site headquarters.
  • Honor opt-out/unsubscribe requests quickly.
  • Allow users to unsubscribe by using the link at the bottom of each email.

If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future marketing emails or newsletters, you can follow the instructions at the bottom of each email.

4. Protecting your data

We implemented a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. This includes organizational as well as technical measures such as firewalls, encryption, audit trails, retention policies and strict access control. Unfortunately, no system is completely secure. In the event a breach of security was to affect you, Voxalyze undertakes to inform you thereof without undue delay and to use its best efforts to take all possible measures to neutralize the intrusion and minimize the impacts.

We do not store payment data such as credit card numbers on our internal systems. Payment transactions are processed through a PCI-compliant payment service provider.

5. Use of cookies

Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.

For instance, we use cookies to help us remember and process the subscription type in the checkout. We only retain your personal data as long as necessary to provide our services and for other legitimate business purposes. This includes satisfying legal obligations, dispute resolutions as well as maintaining availability and performance of our services.

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

You can access and update your personal data that Voxalyze collects and maintains as follows:

  • To update the data you provide directly, log into your account and update your account at any time.
  • To terminate your account. Please note: Even after your account is terminated, we retain your data for as long as we have a legitimate purpose of doing so (and in accordance with applicable law), including assisting with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may retain and disclose such data pursuant to this Privacy Policy after your account has been terminated.
  • To delete your personal data, email [email protected]. Please allow up to 10 days for a response. For your protection, we may require that the request be sent through the email address associated with your account, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request.
