Dear Voxalyze clients, users, partners, and friends,
With a heavy heart, I am writing to you today to share some difficult news about Voxalyze. Over the past 2+ years, we’ve been on an incredible journey together, striving to revolutionize analytics for the digital audio industry. Unfortunately, we find ourselves at a crossroads, and it is with deep regret that I announce we have made the difficult decision to file for insolvency under German law.
We launched the first Podcast Visibility Optimization solution in the summer of 2021. Soon after, we raised funding from business angels and venture capital funds to keep improving our solution and launch new ones such as Audience and Marketing Analytics. We then had the privilege to work with the biggest names in the audio industry, many agencies, as well as many small independent publishers.
While 2023 has seen us doubling our revenues every quarter, we couldn’t raise additional funding from new investors. We had hopeful discussions until the very end. Still, the complicated funding environment for the tech industry made it so that potential investors could not secure funds, and our existing investors could only support us for a while. We, therefore, had no other choice but to file for insolvency.
In the coming weeks, we will work closely with insolvency professionals to navigate the legal proceedings and minimize the impact on all stakeholders. Simultaneously, we are exploring potential avenues for restructuring the business and finding alternative solutions to keep the Voxalyze service alive.
As we reflect on our incredible journey, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your support. Building Voxalyze has been an honor and a privilege, and we are proud of what we’ve accomplished together.
While this chapter may be closing, I’m confident it is not the end of the story. We will continue to explore options for revitalizing Voxalyze, and we encourage you to stay connected for any future updates.
